In general, there are 3 main types of glass balustrades*(varied according to number of fixing sides and type of fixing) as followed:
1. Cantilevered glass balustrade - One-side(bottom) fixed
2. Semi-Frameless glass balustrade - Two OR three-side fixed
3. Full-Framed glass balustrade - Four-side fixed

*Definition of Balustrade: Any barrier that acts as fall protection for a vertical fall greater than 1000mm(Vertical) is called a balustrade. also, fall protection is required where the point of the wall is located less than 1000mm(horizontal) away from the balcony.
